The beautiful zinnias in the picture are in the garden of a 96 year old Jackson County gardener, Mattie Rowell. She grew these zinnias for the wedding of her great grand daughter.
We are Master Gardeners, here in Jackson County, Texas.
Our group was formed in 2002, and we have grown to 37 members at this time.
We always have a project happening; a plant sale, a landscape plan, or just a workday at one of the beautification projects we have done in the past.
We have a new class of 12 prospective Master Gardeners at this time. We are happy to have them, and excited to see the energy they will bring to our group.
The Native Plant Garden looks great!
